We are seeking a sales-driven Design Expert to play a critical role in delivering a high-end, personalized customer experience while driving sales growth at our Studio in Edina, MN. What You’ll Do

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas by delivering exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge.
  • Client Consultations: Engage clients in-store and virtually, advising on furniture selections and design choices tailored to their needs.
  • Lead the Sales Process: Own the entire customer journey, from initial inquiry to purchase, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to enhance sales and improve the overall customer experience within the studio.
  • Product Expertise: Master the details of our product offerings and design services to confidently guide clients’ purchasing decisions.
  • Spatial Planning & Mood Board Creation: Work with clients to complete their room design and ensure proper size and fit of all selected furniture pieces. Experience with 2D and 3D design software is a plus.
  • Follow-Up & Retention: Maintain proactive and timely communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Engagement: Act as a brand ambassador to cultivate a strong community presence in Edina, MN and build local customer relationships.

Who You Are

  • Sales Experience: 2-3 years in sales (preferably in furniture or interior design) with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Interior Design Experience: Experience in interior design and/or home furnishings; ability to speak to mood boards and floor plans for clients.
  • Customer-Centric: Excels at creating memorable customer experiences that convert to sales.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, supports team goals and individual sales success.
  • Goal-Oriented: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a consultative selling approach.
  • Organized & Efficient: Manages multiple clients and projects with timelines and quality expectations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Canva, interior design software, Google Suite; CRM experience preferred and adaptable to new tools.
  • Adaptable: Flexible, solutions-focused, thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate About Design: Keeps up with current trends in interior design and furniture.
