Overview
We're seeking an Experience Designer to join our growing Experience Design team at a pivotal moment in our transformation. Designed for someone who wants to make the leap from individual contributor to strategic leader, this position offers the opportunity to develop senior-level skills across research, strategy, and organizational change, while helping to reshape how our organization operates.
Responsibilities
Lead Research-Driven Design Initiatives
- Conduct mixed-method research to understand user needs across employee and customer experiences
- Synthesize complex findings into actionable insights that drive design decisions
- Create journey maps, workflows, and conceptual models that align teams around opportunities
- Use prototyping and experimentation to explore and validate solutions
- Focus on understanding the underlying jobs users are trying to accomplish
Drive Strategic Design Conversations
- Partner with design leadership and executive stakeholders to define an experience strategy that supports our digital transformation
- Present research findings and design recommendations with clarity and impact
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to challenge existing assumptions and solve complex business challenges
- Translate business objectives and technical constraints into human-centered solutions
- Help leaders see beyond current limitations to what's possible
Design Enterprise Experiences
- Create experiences across platforms like Salesforce and ServiceNow
- Design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Develop scalable patterns and approaches for consistent experiences
- Focus on outcomes and impact rather than pixel-perfect deliverables
- Champion new ways of working through the experiences you design
Enable Organizational Transformation
- Help teams across the organization adopt design thinking methodologies
- Share research insights and design methods to build organizational capability
- Act as a change agent, helping colleagues embrace new approaches
- Contribute to building our design culture and practice
- Model the innovative thinking we need to transform our business
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with demonstrated growth in UX design, design research, or related field, and readiness to expand into strategic and organizational work
- Strong portfolio demonstrating research-led design process and strategic thinking
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms
- Background working in organizations undergoing digital transformation
- Knowledge of change management and adoption strategies
