Our Client is seeking a UX Researcher/Designer to support the discovery phase of internal web applications. This role will focus on understanding user needs and translating findings into clear direction for product, design, and engineering teams.

You Will

  • Lead discovery by planning and running user research to uncover jobs, pain points, and workflows.
  • Facilitate sessions such as interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions, surfacing assumptions through direct questioning.
  • Summarize research findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Create role snapshots, step-by-step journeys, and future-state experience maps to capture current and ideal workflows.
  • Develop simple wireframes, task flows, and diagrams to illustrate proposed solutions.
  • Keep teams aligned by presenting concise readouts, documenting decisions, and maintaining a simple research archive.
  • Deliver a practical UX plan, interview results, personas, journey maps, and a prioritized backlog.
  • Produce mockups and prototypes when necessary.

You Have

  • 4–7+ years of experience conducting user research on product teams, preferably in enterprise or B2B environments.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing interviews, usability testing, and observational research.
  • Strong ability to translate raw notes into insights, priorities, and recommendations.
  • Experience producing personas, journeys, task flows, and low-fidelity wireframes in Figma, Mural, or similar tools.
  • Confidence in facilitating sessions, handling pushback, and guiding groups toward clarity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-friendly presentation style.
  • Familiarity with tools including Figma, Mural, and Microsoft Office.
  • Exposure to complex or regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or public sector is a plus.
  • Basic survey and service design skills, with experience supporting research operations.
  • Design capability to create high-fidelity mockups or clickable prototypes as needed.

  • Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Week
  • Onsite/Offsite: Remote working roughly ET or CT hours (Must be based in the US)
  • Laptop/Software Requirements: Client-Provided Laptop & Software
  • Salary/Rate: $65-$85/Hour
