Join us as a Bid Writer and play a key role in shaping proposals that secure exciting opportunities with both commercial and public sector clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing bid team where your writing skills, creativity, and strategic thinking directly influence business growth.

In this role, you will partner with Bid Managers, Bid Coordinators, and subject matter experts across the business to transform complex solutions into clear, compelling stories that resonate with our customers. From executive summaries to detailed tender responses, you’ll showcase our strengths, differentiate our solutions, and help us stand out in competitive markets.

This is a remote position with minimal travel – giving you the flexibility to deliver your best work while being part of a global, innovative team.

Your role in our mission

  • Lead the writing process – plan, draft, and deliver professional, persuasive bid responses that align with customer needs, win themes, and evaluation criteria.
  • Collaborate widely – work closely with Bid Managers, Coordinators, and subject matter experts to storyboard, refine, and strengthen proposals.
  • Elevate content quality – edit and polish inputs from stakeholders, ensuring a consistent voice, clear messaging, and standout presentation.
  • Bring solutions to life – create executive summaries, case studies, and supporting visuals (charts, tables, infographics) that demonstrate value and impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement – share best practices, update content libraries, and contribute fresh ideas that make our bid process more effective and efficient.

Valued skills and experience

  • A degree in English, Communications, or a related field, with proven writing expertise and a passion for persuasive storytelling.
  • Exceptional English proficiency (CEFR C2); fluency in a second language is a plus.
  • Several years of experience in bid writing, ideally spanning both public and commercial sector proposals.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to distill complex solutions into clear, customer-focused benefits.
  • Excellent editing, writing, and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders from technical experts to senior leadership.
  • Confidence with MS Office, Google Suite, and content management systems (experience with Adobe Acrobat is a plus).
