What we’re looking for: a Senior User Researcher to define ongoing strategic opportunities for our UGC products, emphasizing generative and exploratory methods to guide future innovation. What You Will Do

Help identify questions to advance strategy and execution. Your insights will inform company strategy, product experiences, and long-term roadmaps. Advocate for and develop the strategic direction of the UGC brands, serving as a thought leader and contributor with brand and cross-functional leadership. Design, scope, and run user research to uncover latent and unmet needs of Scribd and Slideshare users through creative research across generative, iterative, and evaluative methods. Support multiple product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders with a wide range of research needs, from large and generative to small and tactical. Craft insights, decks, stories, videos, and testimonials to make research findings actionable and drive informed decision making. Build and implement innovative user research processes to meet product delivery goals. Leverage company-provisioned AI tools to maximize efficiencies in research while maintaining appropriate human oversight. About You

5+ years of hands-on experience designing and conducting market/product/design research with demonstrated impact on roadmaps, design outcomes, and team processes. Ability to navigate ambiguous opportunities to extract key information and determine a clear path forward. Comprehensive knowledge of qualitative UX research methods and quantitative surveys at scale. BA/BS+ in Psychology, Social Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Proven ability to use human-centered insights to answer business questions. Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead cross-functional brainstorming and strategic partnerships. Ability to own a slice of the research roadmap and manage changing priorities. Strong presentation skills with creative storytelling. Ability to work quickly and handle multiple studies concurrently. Compensation and Benefits At Scribd, base pay is part of total compensation and ranges are based on local labor benchmarks for role, level, and location. Salaries vary by geography, and the company considers experience, skills, education, and other needs.
