Overview RoseBernard Studio, an interior design and concept studio specializing in high-end hospitality design experiences for hotels and restaurants across the globe, seeks an exceptional creative full-time Intermediate Designer to join our design team. The Intermediate Designer will work closely with the Design Director, Creative Director, Junior Designers, and Technical Designers to develop design concepts for clients, including collaboration with architects and contractors as needed. We are looking for candidates with at least 4-5 years of creative interior design experience, who have a portfolio demonstrating an eye for detail and a design style aligned with our firm’s vision. Candidates should be able to execute a design project from start to finish, including concept, design development, space planning, sourcing perspective, drawings for interior architectural design intent and construction administration, and installation. As a studio known for a hands-on approach from project concept through delivery, RoseBernard employs an interdisciplinary design methodology that adapts to project requirements. A skilled eye toward artistic form and function provides a unique access point to inspired design and high-quality value for our clients. We are a boutique firm with a talented team who are passionate about what we do and require that all employees reside in the Bay Area, work in our San Francisco studio, Tuesday–Thursday with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Responsibilities With guidance, assist in the development and realization of design projects from start to finish, under the direction of the Lead Designer and Project Manager. Develop skills and assist the team in conceiving concept and design to meet client program, RoseBernard Studio standards, and project budget constraints. Consistently work within and maintain RoseBernard Studio Standards. With guidance, assist the team in preparing and completing documentation packages for all phases of a project. Coordinate the completion of presentation packages, material boards, and all other presentation collateral for the team. Organize project folders and materials, adhering to RoseBernard Studio Standards. Order project samples and coordinate the completion of physical specification binders and/or shipment of tagged contractor samples. Assist in project specification writing. Assist in overall department tasks, organization, and production of CSR deliverables. Qualifications / Skills / Qualities Architecture or Interior Design degree, accredited 4-year+ program (Internship experience is desired). Passion and understanding of the design process in color, product selection, and form. Ability to graphically communicate design direction, including hand sketching/rendering of design ideas and 3D visualization of furniture and spaces. Strong organizational skills. Working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and other industry-standard programs. Collaborative, self-motivated, positive, and flexible with strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal staff as required. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Hospitality Design Industry as an Interior Designer.
