About the Role You are a practiced designer. It feels like you’ve been creating experiences all your life. These days, you tend to call yourself a Product Designer, because it encompasses UI, UX, visual design, information architecture, and design strategy. You are a master at turning an abstract assembly of user needs and product requirements into solutions with creativity and rigor, using software as your medium. You think in systems — the parts come together to make a whole, and you want that whole to be elegant, efficient, and delightful. Sometimes you consider the customer’s experience with sales or marketing content because the customer experience starts before the product touchpoint.
Example Potential Projects:
Build out onboarding and configuration setup wizard/experience for free trial users
Review user behavior, competitors, and customer interviews to develop journey maps based on defined personas to educate us on new features and opportunities
Wireframe and design new features and update existing elements, partnering closely with product and engineering (e.g., site navigation, new scorecard feature)
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with Product Managers to drive projects from high level wireframes and clickstreams through to prototypes and pixel perfect implementations
Drive design research studies to inform design decisions, including quantitative analysis, usability studies, and customer interviews
Participate in design reviews, presenting work to teammates and stakeholders and critiquing peers’ projects
Document designs to support engineering efforts and collaborate with engineers to deliver delightful user experiences
Contribute to the development and maintenance of our product style guide and design system, helping drive its evolution from atoms to molecules
What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum of 5 years designing and shipping digital products, ideally in B2B or SaaS
Expertise in end-to-end consumer experience, from journeys to wireframes to final prototypes
Ability to understand the global impact of design decisions
Proficiency with design tools for wireframing, mockups, and prototyping; Figma is a plus
Willingness to be part of the change and evolution of the organization
Strong communication skills to clearly express goals, decisions, and gather feedback
Team player who is willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
Comfort navigating ambiguity and defining what to solve and what questions to answer to move forward
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
