Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
  • Experience in application development in at least one platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).

Preferred qualifications

  • 5 years developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications.
  • 5 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.

As a UX Engineer, you will work on the front end of our products in a challenging, fast-paced environment, helping to bridge UX best practices and production execution. You’ll demonstrate creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies to enable efficient, high-quality execution and launch innovative features to a global audience.

As a UX Engineer on the Cloud Demo Engineering team, your primary focus will be on building and maintaining web front-end for Google Cloud Demos that will be utilized for the entire technical field organization, high-level events (NEXT, executive roundtables, etc), and Cloud Space briefing centers. You will also collaborate with the Cloud Demo Platform engineering team to help develop and maintain the go/demos site. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry, delivering enterprise-grade solutions and tools that help developers build more sustainably. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling demonstrations of Google Cloud capabilities across AI, data, and core infrastructure for multiple industries.
  • Develop web front-end demos for Go-to-Market (GTM) technical resources.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure Cloud demos are brand compliant, scalable and performant.
