Overview

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality video content through advanced editing and motion graphics design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and develop cohesive visual narratives
• Manage deadlines, deliverables, and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in video editing and motion graphics
• Develop storyboards to plan narrative arcs and visualize concepts
• Collaborate with writers to align visuals with scriptwriting principles for seamless storytelling

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional experience in video editing (Premiere, Final Cut) and motion graphics design (After Effects)
• Proficiency in AI image generation tools and experience with AI video creation workflows
• Strong knowledge of video file management, including formats, codecs, naming conventions, archiving, and conversions
• Expertise in tools like Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, Figma, Frame.io, Photoshop, Google Vids, and Google Suite
• Excellent collaboration skills paired with strong organizational abilities to manage projects efficiently
• Storyboarding expertise for pre-production planning
• Solid understanding of narrative arcs, story outlines, and scriptwriting fundamentals

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with film production processes, including camera operation, lighting design, sound recording, and sound editing
• Skills in photography, videography, drone operation, and project management
• Familiarity with AI tools like Sora, Hailuo, Sora/ChatGPT, Google VEO3, and Hugging Face F5 - TTS

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
