Overview
Marketing Manager | Champaign Public Library
HOURS: Full-time (38 hours per week), exempt. The regular schedule is 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to promote and raise awareness of the resources and services offered at the two-branch library system.
- Create print and digital materials, coordinate public relations activities, and manage the Library’s virtual and social channels.
- Collaborate with departments as part of the Library’s management team to create a positive impact in a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Contribute creatively to community service through marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field required
- Two years of experience using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) required
- Two years of experience in marketing or publicity required
- Experience using website design software required
- Some knowledge of Spanish and/or French is helpful
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
$75,055 – $95,831 annually
