Social Media Coordinator – New York City

Marquee Brands is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support the development and execution of social media strategies that strengthen brand visibility, grow community engagement and drive performance across digital platforms. This role plays a critical part in shaping the voice of our brands through content creation, community management and performance tracking. Reporting into the senior team, the Coordinator will collaborate closely with Marketing & PR, Creative and external partners to deliver daily social content and engagement, while ensuring alignment with Marquee Brands’ overall marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement and performance across all digital platforms
  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to develop, adapt and publish content aligned to brand voice and campaign objective
  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and community engagement across social channels, ensuring timely responses and brand-appropriate interactions
  • Create, organize and maintain editorial and content calendars to align with product launches, campaigns and seasonal initiatives
  • Track and report on key social media metrics, providing insights to inform strategy and optimize performance
  • Monitor trends, competitor activity and platform updates to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Collaborate with influencer, brand and partnership teams to support content amplification and campaign activations
  • Ensure all social content complies with brand guidelines, usage rights and legal requirements
  • Assist with cross-functional marketing initiatives by providing social media support for events, collaborations and digital campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (internships included)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and content best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Dash Hudson, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
