Overview We are working with a growing independent media agency to hire a Media Director who will lead integrated media strategy and execution across digital, traditional, and emerging channels. This role combines client leadership, hands-on media expertise, and team management.
Responsibilities Develop and present omnichannel media strategies tied to client business goals.
Oversee planning, buying, and optimization across paid social, search, video/CTV, and traditional media.
Negotiate with vendors and ensure campaigns deliver on performance and budget.
Lead and mentor a team of planners, buyers, and analysts.
Translate campaign performance into insights, reporting, and future recommendations.
Qualifications 8+ years in media planning and buying, including 3+ years managing teams.
Experience managing budgets of $2M+ annually.
Strong digital expertise; knowledge of retail media, CTV, and social commerce a plus.
Skilled in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and The Trade Desk.
Excellent client communication and leadership skills.
Details Salary range: $130,000-$150,000, based on experience.
