Position
Social Media Video & Instagram Coordinator — The Daily Caller is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Video & Instagram Coordinator to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you’ll manage the scheduled posting of video content across all major social platforms and take the lead in developing and executing strategies to grow our presence on Instagram.
Responsibilities
- Lead Instagram Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute a content strategy tailored to the Daily Caller’s Instagram audience
- Create and publish engaging static and short-form video content
- Monitor performance and report on key analytics and growth metrics
- Social Media Video Management
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule for video content across platforms including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram
- Monitor social media trends to optimize content strategy, packaging, and post timing
- Track and analyze performance across platforms and create insight reports
- Content Creation & Optimization
- Identify trending clips and coordinate with the video editing team to produce timely content
- Write compelling titles and descriptions to drive engagement and viewership
- Create eye-catching thumbnails to increase click-through rates
- Collaborate with the social media team to coordinate promotional video content
Requirements
- Experience with major social media platforms: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
- Basic video editing and graphic design skills
- Strong understanding of the political landscape and news media
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Solid sense of humor and creative flair
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets

Salary: $45,000-$55,000 DOE
