Overview
Web Marketing Manager (Slack) at Salesforce. This role focuses on managing the production and execution of web and content strategy, understanding users, products, and the platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve web impact, SEO, and customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Web Production & Content Management: Build, publish, and maintain web pages, landing pages, and blog posts using the Content Management System (CMS); manage the content lifecycle from request to publishing; upload and manage digital assets; perform QA to ensure content is accurate, mobile-responsive, accessible, and on-brand.
- Collaboration & Execution: Partner with marketing, design, and copy teams to translate briefs and mockups into functional web pages; implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, image alt text); support the execution of digital campaigns by creating/updating landing pages and web content; work with Localization teams for global campaigns.
- Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on page and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics; analyze page performance and user behavior to identify improvement opportunities; collaborate with marketing and experimentation teams to apply learnings and support testing initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web production, web marketing, or a related role with a focus on website management.
- Hands-on proficiency with one or more enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
- Strong understanding of web best practices, including on-page SEO, accessibility, and user experience.
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and technical teams to bring web projects to life.
- Ability to work from a content brief and collaborate with content creators to ensure effective and engaging web copy.
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality assurance and brand consistency.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and familiar with Google Tag Manager (or similar).
