Job Summary

This position is a hybrid role based in MTV, requiring a dedicated professional with a strong background in qualitative design research focused on hardware products, including industrial design and materials research. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of design and research experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years in roles that exclude internships, and a proven ability to conduct in-depth interviews and collaborate effectively with designers. While hardware experience is preferred, candidates with foundational research in early-stage concept testing and significant qualitative research experience in design are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative design research specific to hardware product development.
• Collaborate closely with designers to integrate research findings into design processes.
• Execute in-depth interviews and apply various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Perform color, material, and finish (CMF) research to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to foundational research and early-stage concept

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in qualitative analysis and design research.
• Proven ability to conduct in-depth interviews.
• Solid background in collaborating with design teams.

Industry Experience

• Experience in Industrial Design or related hardware product development fields is preferred.
