The Opportunity

You will be joining a diverse team of passionate brand experts who work with marketeers, businesses, and functions across the organization to drive a positive, consistent perception of Roche Diagnostics. In partnership with Integrated Marketing Managers and Global Marketing Managers, you will lead the creative development and execution of prioritized marketing programs and campaigns. You will manage both internal and external agencies, maintaining the highest quality standards, while identifying and delivering on process efficiencies. To be effective, you will also work in conjunction with the Group Branding and Brand Experience teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Leads and continuously enhances the creative process to translate business needs into a compelling creative vision and strategy for prioritized marketing initiatives.
  • Guides concept generation and refinement to ensure the delivery of impactful and engaging creative content in alignment with our brand values.
  • Provides consultation and guidance to the Content Lab creative team and external agency creative staff throughout the campaign development process.
  • Serves as quality control to validate that work done reflects Roche's high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Shapes the foundation for operational excellence by integrating optimization tools and asset management to drive effectiveness.
  • Confirms the delivery of source files for all completed projects, ensuring accessibility post-completion for all projects.
  • Engages with Global Marketing and Customer Areas to understand their needs as they evolve.
  • In collaboration with procurement, builds a robust and diverse pool of agency partners.
  • Provides oversight and direction for creative budgets to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Delivers brand education and best practices to global teams and affiliates.
  • Collaborates with Group Communications, Dia Brand Strategy and Dia Brand Experience to deliver a meaningful and positive brand experience for our customers.
  • Contributes to a collaborative, growth-oriented culture and encourages others to be champions for change.
Who You Are:
  • University degree in Marketing/Graphic Design/Fine Arts (Master's Degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in creative roles
  • Experience leading creative teams preferred
  • Experience in medical device or diagnostics industry preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple portfolios and managing simultaneous projects across Roche
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency analyzing marketing data/intelligence and applying it to a creative strategy
  • Proven, creative, strategic, and critical thinking skills

This role is graded between SE7 - SE8, however, the final grade will be evaluated on an individual basis.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $143,200 - $266,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
