LEAD DESIGNER. We function in a hybrid work environment and support flexibility between work and home life. DxU is a design firm focused on expanding human experience through the built environment, with a hospitality focus in architecture and interior design. Position Summary
Conceptualize, design, and oversee all aspects of the exterior and interior design, ensuring the aesthetic expectations are maintained. Scope will be from conceptualization through project closeout. Develop strong client relationships and lead the design team as needed. Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and oversee exterior and interior design with oversight through project closeout. Develop strong client relationships and provide account leadership. Lead team collaboration and manage the project design team. Communicate effectively in written and oral form; demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills. Be proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills & Qualifications
5+ years in the hospitality design industry. Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with SketchUp and 3D rendering software; strong 3D modeling, illustration, and drawing skills. Strong understanding of commercial/contract grade materials and finishes. Experience with design development, including space planning and FFE choices/selections. Construction administration – shop drawing review and project deliverables. Knowledge of the design process, construction methods, and creating detailed construction drawings with proper permit notation. Benefits and Compensation
