Position Summary
This position within the Brand and Advertising team will focus on creating social media brand campaigns for the growing Credit One Bank national brand. This position will assist in the development and execution of advertising programs across social media platforms for both organic and paid campaigns. Candidate must be able to place a strong emphasis on teamwork and developing informed points of view. This role will be a point of contact for Agency partners, internal stakeholders, and will partner with internal resources for development of creative assets and campaign measurement. This position will lead the execution of the social media strategy and will be focused on content creation with rigorous attention paid to tracking toward goals.Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Manage day-to-day interaction with Agency of Record to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget
- Create a social media roadmap and annual plan for each identified content lane
- Support multiple content pillars such as product support, brand messaging, sponsorships, and philanthropic efforts
- Develop creative and media briefs for agency partners and/or internal creative team that make the brand competitive, unique, and elevated, driving awareness of the brand message
- Lead ideation and creative thinking to ensure socially native campaigns are developed and executed
- Support major initiatives such as new product launches, or key marketing messaging blitzes by developing go-to-market strategies and content approach in both organic and paid campaigns
- Evaluate campaign delivery in reaching business goals through planning, buying, execution, and reporting
- Actively participate in the planning of integrated campaigns and recommend the best approach to support the message and reach the target audience
- Direct meetings with stakeholders across the Bank to launch social initiatives that support product, partnerships, sponsorships, media, human resources, content marketing, digital acquisition, customer engagement and more
- Plan engaging content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action on each social network
- Ensure team maximizes use of high-value sports sponsorships in social with real-time and opportunistic content and campaigns
- Outline paid amplification opportunities along with testing and measurement for campaigns
- Participate in designing campaign tests, marketing research, and brand surveys to better understand media impact on target audience
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for optimizing future campaigns based on data-driven analysis of results
- Be a collaborative “go-to” partner within an energetic and hard-working team of multi-disciplinary marketing and advertising leaders
- Keep abreast of the advertising industry and emerging trends, both inside and outside the credit card category
- Champion bold and innovative work to drive change and meet goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Percent of time spent traveling: 5%
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years of advertising campaign experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a communications-related field
- Agency or in-house marketing team experience a plus
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
- Excellent communication, writing and time management skills
- Critical thinker with sound decision making skills
