Creative Strategist, Influencer Marketing at Small Girls PR. Join our influencer marketing team working primarily with household-name beauty brands. This role can be based in NYC or LA with a hybrid schedule (two days in the office).

Responsibilities

  • Support the digital team in the day-to-day execution and organization of paid and earned influencer partnerships and lead day-to-day client communications.
  • In partnership with junior staff, oversee all administrative tasks relating to the client (e.g. activity reports, client agendas, meeting schedules, etc.).
  • Support teamwide project management by creating and managing timelines, reporting daily action items, and organizing team materials for efficiency and efficacy.
  • Execute paid and earned influencer campaigns: conduct research and influencer audits, identify influencers, develop lists, manage dashboards, conduct outreach, negotiate rates and deliverables within budget, and track/report placements.
  • Conduct regular social listening to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and liaise with clients for approvals.
  • Manage the account payables process, including receiving influencer invoices and ensuring payments to partners.
  • Participate in client calls and communications, including influencer recommendations, campaign updates, and approvals.
  • Establish and manage relationships with influencers, agents, and vendors to grow your rolodex.
  • Exercise sound judgment in budgeting and spend to meet client KPIs, deliverables, and deadlines with impactful campaigns.
  • Contribute new, creative concepts to agency and client brainstorms for owned accounts and support colleagues as needed.
  • Mentor and oversee junior staff on execution of work.

Qualifications

  • Experience - Minimum 2-3+ years in influencer marketing (agency or in-house); experience negotiating contracts, managing campaigns, and maintaining a strong influencer network.
  • Organization - Ability to monitor progress of personal and team deliverables and ensure contributions from integrated teams.
  • Detail-Oriented - Strong proofreading, formatting, and deadline discipline.
  • Social Savvy - Knowledge of industry trends, platform best practices, and ability to amplify creator storytelling.
  • Communication - Strong verbal and written communication to instill client confidence.
  • Solution-Oriented - Ability to propose creative process improvements.
  • Content & Trend Obsessed - Ability to spot trends early and translate into campaigns.
  • Eager to Learn & Collaborate - Interest in growing as an influencer expert and understanding integrated communications.
