Our short, motivational videos focus on life, business, and relationships and reach a global audience across platforms.

We’re looking for an exceptionally skilled Video Podcast Trailer and Clip Editor to transform long-form conversations into engaging, viral, short cinematic content. The ideal candidate has strong experience editing for high-profile video podcasts and understands how to craft compelling narratives, build emotion, and increase the entertainment value of each episode with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Editing video podcast trailers to create visually compelling hooks and engaging intros for social media and podcast platforms
• Creating viral social clips from podcast video to drive consumption of the long-form podcast
• Crafting engaging narratives, building emotional arcs, and delivering impactful messages from long-form conversations
• Integrating motion graphics, b‑roll, sound design, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a story producer and editor on a high-profile podcast
• Experience on a show with a proven audience and strong download/engagement metrics
• High-energy editorial experience with dynamic and compelling narrative arcs; ability to create attention-grabbing intros
• 5–10 years of editing video content for high-profile podcasts or YouTube channels
• Strong understanding of editing for YouTube and other social platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels)
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Adobe Premiere Pro
• Ability to think outside the box, learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively
• Experience receiving footage with minimal direction and delivering highly engaging stories
• Proven ability to produce high-quality work on tight deadlines

Role details

• The Editor reports directly to the Post Production Manager
• Work remotely from home or a personal office; time-tracking software utilized
• Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with some long hours, including nights and weekends
