About the Role

We’re a boutique branding and creative services agency based in Palm Springs, looking for a versatile, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our small team. We’re looking for someone with agency experience who’s passionate about brand storytelling and has a proven track record of executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.

You’ll work primarily on projects for our ongoing clients, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into brand guidelines, understanding a brand’s style and tone, referencing past creative, and translating that into beautiful, on-brand design across touchpoints. Priorities tend to shift as new requests come in, so the ability to pivot and juggle multiple tasks when needed are key.

This is a freelance role starting at 20 hours per week, with the strong potential to grow into more hours and creative responsibility as we build a working rhythm together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce creative assets for marketing campaigns, including digital ads, social content, email graphics, print materials, and out-of-home
  • Roll out campaign creative across multiple channels, ensuring consistency
  • Translate brand strategies into compelling visual systems, toolkits, and on-brand creative solutions
  • Evolve and refine existing brand assets while adhering to established brand guidelines
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines in an often fast-paced environment
  • Proof and review your work with a sharp eye for detail; ask clarifying questions when needed
  • Collaborate with internal team members and clients to present ideas and articulate design rationale
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and creative innovations

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a creative agency or in a client-facing role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity, campaign design, and multi-channel creative
  • Deep understanding of brand systems and how to execute them across various formats
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Solid grasp of typography, layout, composition, and color theory
  • Highly organized with excellent file management, naming conventions, and time management skills
  • Receptive to feedback and comfortable iterating quickly in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

  • Based in Palm Springs or the Coachella Valley
  • Illustration skills
  • Conceptual thinker, brand designer
  • Motion design experience (After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
  • Experience using tools like Asana, Slack, and Google Suite
  • Web design experience or experience working with dev teams
  • Familiarity with AI tools to support design workflows (image generation, mockups)
  • Ability to craft brand messaging
