Overview

UNLV invites applications for Multimedia Manager, Graduate College (R0149098). The central responsibility is to manage film/video production, photography, and website content for the UNLV Graduate College. Reports to the Director of Communications and works with all units in the Graduate College. The role supports digital marketing initiatives to attract prospective students, engage current students and alumni, and connect with community stakeholders. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, MS Office, and social media platforms (including YouTube) is required. The position focuses on film/video production and web content creation, with a secondary focus on photography.

Responsibilities include creation and management of visual and website content for digital archives, social media, digital signage, marketing materials, and online educational materials; contributing to digital marketing strategies and storytelling through visual design and production.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 3–5 years of experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

• Thorough knowledge of content management systems, particularly web content management systems
• Thorough knowledge of video production
• Intermediate knowledge of photography
• Strong skills in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Google tools), web production, publishing and design, presentation preparation, web interaction, and image handling
• Excellent storytelling, aesthetic design, and visual communication skills
• Proficiency in basic photography, operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and related production tools
• Ability to record and edit raw video files and follow a script or concept
• Ability to use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Strong post-production skills (color grading, audio mixing, video effects)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related professional experience
• Master’s degree
• Experience in higher education
