The Ford Agency is partnering with a prestigious DC law firm in their search for an entrepreneurial Business Development and Marketing Manager to support firm and attorney marketing and business development activities across their offices in D.C., New York, and Los Angeles. The Business Development Manager will spearhead strategies to enhance the firm’s visibility and strengthen its reputation as a top provider of legal services. This individual will collaborate closely with attorneys and the marketing team to manage the pitches and proposals process and create innovative business development programs. Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies in partnership with attorneys Drive lead generation, expand client relationships, and identify cross-selling opportunities Research and recommend opportunities to increase client and market engagement Oversee the full RFP, proposal, and pitch process from planning to submission Track business development initiatives and deliver regular reports at monthly meetings Manage and mentor two direct reports to drive marketing and BD initiatives Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 5+ years of business development experience in a law firm environment Strong project management skills with a record of meeting deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional presence Ability to lead and provide guidance to team Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
