Visual Inspection / Packing 1.3
Job Type: Temp to hire
Pay: $15 -$19 / hour depending upon experience
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am – 4:30pm; Friday 7am-11am
OT: Occasional overtime available Monday-Saturday
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Prior visual inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity using ERP systems in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while working on repetitive tasks.
- Self-starter and work with minimal supervision after initial training period.
- Safety oriented.
- Familiarity with metal stamping a plus
Responsibilities / Activities:
- Visually inspect all parts per stated quality standards.
- Pull, pack, sort, and organize piece part inventory from various locations on the shop floor.
- Box, label and fulfill shipping requirements for customer orders.
- Assist with other manufacturing processes as needed, including operating machines and helping deburr or clean piece parts.
Education / Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and walking – 95%; Sitting – 5%.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
