We’re hiring a Marketing Account Manager / Content Strategist to run marketing across our portfolio of fast-growing companies. This is not an “ideas only” role. It’s an ownership role — where you take multiple brands, moving parts, and creative chaos, and turn it into a clean, repeatable, results-driven marketing machine.
Role
As the Marketing Account Manager, you’ll be the single point of accountability for marketing across the Sandbox portfolio. You’ll ensure every campaign, ad, event, and social post is executed on time, on brand, and on budget.
You’ll collaborate with our internal team and external partners, supported by:
A Videographer/Editor (on-site content capture + base edits)
A VA Scheduler (posting + reporting)
An Agency (digital ads)
Contractors (copywriters/designers, as needed)
Your job is to own the system, manage the people, and drive results.
What You’ll Do
Own Marketing Systems & Strategy
Oversee all marketing activities for multiple brands in our portfolio.
Lead weekly marketing meetings with each company — align campaigns to revenue goals.
Create and refine the Marketing Onboarding Playbook for new acquisitions.
Manage the relationship with our in-house ad agency (digital ads) and negotiate print/media buys.
Directly manage the Event Coordination (scheduling events/managing teams, VA Scheduler, and Videographer/Editor — plus future hires as we grow.)
Content Strategy & Oversight
Maintain a consistent content runway across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn etc.
Plan and execute strategies to grow engagement and reach.
Keep content buckets dynamic — mix educational, inspirational, trend-based, and promotional.
Deliver 15–30 fresh content ideas weekly into our running doc to fuel the creative pipeline.
Track performance and recommend tweaks to improve reach, retention, and conversion.
Ensure every asset is on-brand in look, tone, and quality.
Balance value and virality — meaningful messages wrapped in attention-grabbing trends.
Collaboration & Systems
Coordinate collabs and cross-posting opportunities across brands.
Keep systems tight — document workflows in Notion, Slack etc.
Keep leadership and teams in the loop on timelines, deliverables, and blockers.
Spot trends early and translate them into usable strategies for our brands.
Test and recommend new tools (AI, automation, reporting) to move faster without losing quality.

Experienced — 2+ years in a marketing, account, or project management role (multi-brand preferred).

AI obsessed — you know what AI is available and how to use it to dramatically and consistently increase and optimize output.
The Details
Hours: Full-Time, In-Person, 9–5 PM
Location: San Diego, CA
Compensation: Base salary + performance-based incentives
