As a Creative Project Manager for Congo Brands, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and timelines simultaneously. You will report to the Senior Creative Project Manager and assist with tasks including, but not limited to, project timelines, creative team task assignments, and follow-up, project-management status documentation. You must be a team-player with a can-do attitude. This position will serve as a liaison across internal teams, as well as being an advocate for the creative process and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Production and Creative Project Managers in managing project timelines and task delegation.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between creative, operations, and marketing teams.
  • Help construct and maintain project plans, calendars, and work-back schedules to ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Proactively identify blockers, gaps, or risks in creative workflows and communicate them to the project manager.
  • Effectively prioritize projects in the creative team project queue – adjusting timelines and resources as needed and helping art directors manage their creative workloads.
  • Participate in creative team meetings and assist with documentation, follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Conduct final checks on deliverables before release, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate the review and approval process for packaging and product proofs, ensuring accurate tracking and timely feedback.
  • Maintain the DAM system with approved renders, flats, and other creative assets—ensuring they are properly organized, labeled, and accessible.
  • Assist in tracking the progress of production and product visualization tasks and help align team priorities with business deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of project coordination or management experience; creative or production environment .
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Project Management, etc.).
  • Familiarity with creative workflows, particularly print, packaging, and digital renderings.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) and Microsoft Office 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Experience using or maintaining a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is a strong plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must be available to work on-site in our Louisville, KY office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
