Overview

Animator/Motion Designer at Aquent. Base pay range: $90.00/hr - $100.00/hr. Hybrid role located in Cupertino. Must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling motion graphics and animations for consumer software applications to enhance user engagement and clarity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, QA) to integrate motion design into user experiences.
• Contribute to the design process from brainstorming through implementation and refinement.
• Apply classic animation principles to solve design challenges and elevate visual storytelling.
• Push boundaries of software design with innovative motion solutions and set new standards for interactive experiences.
• Work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with high quality under tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in animation, motion graphics, compositing, and 3D design.
• Deep understanding of classic animation principles.
• Proficiency with After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D; experience with rendering engines such as Octane, Arnold, and RedShift.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
