On-Air Talent (Middays on Live 95.5) at Connoisseur Media in Portland, Oregon.

Connoisseur Media is seeking an On-Air Talent for Middays on Live 95.5 in our Portland, Oregon location. We are looking for someone with a strong on-air background and a passion for live, local radio, community involvement, and engaging with listeners. Duties will include hosting a daily midday show, audio production, and website and social media updates. Video production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• 5-hour daily show, Monday through Friday, featuring local content relevant to the Portland area.
• Daily production of commercial spots.
• Engage with listeners via social media.
• Broadcast live from remote locations and events.
• Collaborate with the Sales Department for new and engaging programming.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
• Proficient in the use of audio editing software and broadcast equipment.
• Must be a team player and work well with management and staff at all levels.
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Ability to successfully execute station events and remotes.
• Able to relate to the audience and have strong listener interaction.
• Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
• Multitasking abilities and resilience under pressure.
• Skilled in operation of the control board, remote broadcasting, and related production equipment.
• Creative, innovative, and with a strong work ethic.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.
