Development Plus, Inc. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented In-House Photographer to join our marketing team. This role will be central to visually showcasing our products, ensuring they are presented consistently and compellingly across our channels. The photographer will be responsible for shooting new product launches, refreshing imagery of existing products, and developing themed and collection-based shoots that support larger marketing campaigns.
This position reports directly to the Lead Digital Graphic Designer and will collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned content.
Responsibilities
- Product Photography: Shoot high-quality images of new products for e-commerce, marketing, and promotional use. Portfolio required.
- Catalog Refreshes: Re-shoot and update imagery for legacy products to maintain consistency with current brand standards.
- Themed & Collection Shoots: Plan, execute, and edit creative photography concepts that highlight product collections and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Digital Graphic Designer to ensure photography aligns with brand guidelines and marketing needs.
- Post-Production: Edit and retouch images for color accuracy, consistency, and web/social optimization.
- Asset Management: Organize, tag, and maintain the digital photo library for easy access and reuse.
- Studio Management: Manage photography equipment, lighting setups, and maintain the studio space in optimal condition.
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with marketing, merchandising, and design teams to meet deadlines for product launches and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a photographer, ideally in product photography (portfolio required).
- Strong technical skills with studio lighting, cameras, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop required).
- Strong understanding of visual composition, color theory, and branding.
- Ability to manage multiple shoots and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital asset management best practices.
Preferred
- Experience with lifestyle photography and staging.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and requirements for digital assets.
- Knowledge of video production basics is a plus.
