Director, Product Marketing - Financial Services Job Description: We are hiring a strategic Director, Product Marketing – Financial Services to lead go-to-market strategy and revenue plans for our Financial Services vertical. This role will be pivotal in driving Sage’s growth by shaping market strategy, aligning with Business Units, and executing plans that meet the evolving needs of financial services organizations. The Director will own the vertical’s growth strategy across North America, translating global priorities into regional execution and measurable outcomes. Success will be defined by winning market share, generating opportunities, and delivering annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth. By creating clarity and alignment across GTM functions, this leader will ensure Sage seizes market opportunities, mitigates risks, and accelerates momentum for sustainable growth. This role is hybrid in office, 3 days per week. (Austin, Portland, Atlanta or Lawrenceville) Location notes: Office locations include Austin, Portland, Atlanta, or Lawrenceville; hybrid work model with in-office requirement of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Translate our global Business Unit strategy into go-to-market plans tailored for the Financial Services market. Shape and localize our value proposition and messaging into simple, compelling stories that cut through the noise—bring these to life through briefs that fuel demand generation, business development, partners, and sales. Drive clarity and alignment across teams by championing customer and buyer needs, creating belief in our mission, and uniting stakeholders around shared goals. Lead cross-functional teams to build and deliver end-to-end execution plans designed to hit revenue and growth targets while staying within cost and margin expectations. Oversee execution of these plans, ensuring performance is tracked, risks and opportunities are identified, and strategies are adjusted to keep momentum strong. Leverage customer, market, competitor, and performance insights to influence future strategy and shape offerings that unlock even greater growth.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Product Marketing and/or Growth roles (Growth marketing, sales, etc.). Proficient in the use of analytics software (Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Financial Services experience.
