Multimedia Intern
The University of Texas Charter School is seeking a creative and tech-savvy undergrad Multimedia Intern to help us tell our story through short videos for social media and web content. This is a great opportunity for students interested in digital storytelling, video production, and content creation. You'll work with our communications and development team to produce short-form videos and visual content that highlight the people and programs of UT K-12 Programs.
Responsibilities:
- Record and edit short videos for use on social media, website, and other platforms
- Create graphics and visuals using Canva (Edu account provided)
- Capture footage at school events or coordinate with staff for remote content
- Manage and schedule posts using Meta Business Suite
- Ensure all content aligns with UT branding and messaging guidelines (training provided)
Required Qualifications
Experience with video recording and editing (reels, shorts, YouTube, etc.)
Access to your own camera and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut, iMovie, InShot, etc). A smartphone is acceptable as a camera
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Strong visual storytelling and communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and follow university branding standards
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Salary Range
$15.00/hour
