Student Multimedia Specialist

Enterprise Technology is seeking a creative, self-starting student with strong videography and photography skills to help visually tell the story of our people, projects, and impact. This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the camera, comfortable interacting with students, faculty, and staff, and passionate about producing high-quality, on-brand content. In addition to capturing and editing visual content, the student employee will assist with social media content creation and scheduling. This includes drafting engaging posts and maintaining a content calendar.

The role also includes supporting social media content creation and scheduling, including drafting posts and maintaining a content calendar.

Photography
  • Capture dynamic images of current projects, initiatives, and events.
  • Document employee culture and workplace atmosphere.
  • Organize and deliver edited photos in alignment with UT brand standards.
  • Portrait headshots of senior leadership.
Videography
  • Film and edit interviews, testimonials, and use-case videos for promotional purposes.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with UT community members.
  • Produce polished, branded video content that aligns with UT's visual identity.
  • Occasionally create screen recordings or self-recorded content (low priority but may increase in the future).
  • Organize photo/video assets and ensure proper tagging and storage
Social Media
  • Content creation & scheduling for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Assist with creating short videos, and photo content
  • Schedule posts using tools like Canva content planner
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva or similar).
  • Experience with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe photoshop, Lightroom, Canva or similar).
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Comfortable engaging with members of the UT community.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation.
  • Familiarity with UT brand Filming Guidelines
  • Interest in technology and digital communications.
Pay

$15.00+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Some assignments may require attending campus events, which can involve standing and walking while carrying camera equipment and conducting interviews with students, faculty, or staff.
  • Work will be performed both independently and collaboratively, with regular check-ins with the Digital Communications team.
  • Tasks may be completed in a shared office environment or remotely, depending on project needs and equipment availability.
  • Access to camera equipment and editing software will be provided; however, familiarity with personal devices and tools is welcome.
