Structural Drafter/Designer

Are you seeking a new role in the structural design field? Selectek needs a Structural Drafter/Designer for a client located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Candidates will be preparing structural steel joists and decks.

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Expected Pay Range: $19.75-$27 per hour before conversion, based on experience and education Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Job Duties:

• Design joist and deck layouts
• Create detail drawings for stainless steel structure
• Help prepare RFIs
• Perform load calculations
• Maintain an organized file system for drawings

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Up to 10 years of experience in structural steel and foundation design
• Comfortable working multiple projects at once
• In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation
