Creative Agency Seeks Junior Graphic Designer

Eight Moon is an award-winning creative firm located in the Vandalia Tower. Conveniently located between the two cities and off I-94 in a renovated warehouse that also include a brewery and coffee shop. Eight Moon specializes in brand development, web and graphic design for consumer, business and nonprofit clients (a mix of local and national brands).

We are seeking a Junior Designer with some previous real-world work experience. Work may include brand development, print collateral design, package design, infographics, tradeshows, ad campaigns, website design, digital marketing and videos. Candidate must have integrated print and digital creative talent, as well as strong organization, communication and layout and typography skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with current team to implement design solutions based on client goals
• Balance both smaller tasks as well as larger projects with an eye for detail
• Design and produce a range of print and interactive projects – some starting from conception all the way through pre-press, production/programming
• Juggle various projects and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to multiple client brand standards
• Work independently and able to collaborate

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1-2 years design experience required
• Degree in graphic design, advertising, communications, or visual art (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Strong portfolio of work experience that shows knowledge of typography, color, composition and layout design skills
• A solutions-orientated mentality with an open and positive communication style
• Solid understanding of print production and procedures
• Creative Suite Knowledge: Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office
• Basic familiarity with WordPress with an understanding of HTML/CSS and digital formats
• Any experience with social media platforms or email marketing platforms is a plus

Details

Contract to full-time, in-office position, regular work-days hours. This position is not WFH or hybrid – IN OFFICE (Saint Paul, Minnesota) is required and parking is free.
