APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Ossining, NY looking to add an AV Technician to their team. Their primary responsibility will be to support the installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of audiovisual systems and Mitel VoIP systems. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like

• Install, configure, test, and document AV systems (audio, video, lighting, programming, and network components)
• Maintain and support AV equipment, including Crestron, Epiphan, Biamp, Tesira, SageVue, microphones, speakers, and cameras
• Provide AV support for meetings and events
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV software and hardware issues
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure systems meet specifications
• Create documentation and reports on system configurations and testing
• Mentor IT Helpdesk technicians and provide technical guidance as needed
• Deliver professional, customer-focused support to ensure a positive user experience

What we are looking for

• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of AV installation/maintenance experience
• AVIXA CTS, Crestron CCP, or BIAMP Tesira certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Knowledge of Crestron control systems, VoIP systems, and basic networking
• Experience with AV equipment (Biamp, Shure, Crestron, Extron, Epiphan)
• Familiarity with Teams, Zoom, livestream platforms, and video hosting tools
• Bonus: Mitel MiCollab or other VoIP experience
