Job Description

Our Bassett Design Consultants are responsible for building meaningful and long-term customer relationships. They have comprehensive knowledge ranging from furniture construction to design trends. They use relationship selling techniques through interior design consultations and makeovers to maximize selling opportunities. They take joy in the design process.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in turning their design visions into reality

Training

You’ll learn product knowledge, sales techniques, design skills, and how to build a base of loyal clients through online classes, videos, hands-on activities, and one-on-one coaching. Bassett offers interior design certification training and ongoing opportunities to learn throughout your career. Coaching helps you build relationships with customers and use our complimentary design service to develop opportunities for increased sales.

Opportunity & Compensation

With our commission-based compensation plan, income is limited only by effort. In addition to commission on written business, there are bonus opportunities. Potential income for experienced Bassett Design Consultants averages $70,000-$105,000 per year, with corporate top performers up to $135,000 per year.
