We are seeking a Part-Time Music Therapist with geriatric or hospice experience for our Milwaukee and Waukesha County territories. Work approximately 10-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment
• Provide individual patients music therapy using instrumental, vocal, or recorded music with goals to reduce physical symptoms of pain, agitation and shortness of breath
• Complete documentation following each visit
• Adjust care plan as needed
• Participate in team meetings

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in music therapy from an accredited institution approved by the American Music Therapy Association
• Must be board certified MT-BC
• Licensed and insured driver with ability to travel to client homes - mileage reimbursement provided
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal relations and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Previous hospice experience preferred
