- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week (Eastern Time)
Join a global leader in industrial and healthcare solutions as a CAD Designer/Drafter. You'll be responsible for converting PDF-based redlined P&ID documents into DWG format using AutoCAD within a structured, office-based environment. This role is essential to supporting engineering and construction teams with accurate and timely drafting work that aligns with operational safety and design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and convert PDF markups/redlines into editable CAD files.
- Use existing drawing templates and follow established drafting standards.
- Communicate with engineering teams to clarify any ambiguities in source materials.
- Maintain drawing documentation and ensure file version control.
- Deliver accurate, clean, and organized CAD outputs in a timely manner.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD within an industrial setting.
- Experience with redline interpretation and CAD standards.
- Prior experience with P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Familiarity with large engineering or industrial projects.
- Attention to technical detail and drawing accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in an office environment.
- Strong organizational and file management habits.
- No specific education required if sufficient AutoCAD experience is demonstrated.
