We’re seeking a highly ambitious
Marketing Director
to scale Good Natured Brand into the national leader in pet-safe cleaning products. You’ll own brand and marketing strategy alongside full omnichannel growth, leading performance marketing, content, social, design, and product teams. By embedding internal and external AI technologies into marketing, you’ll drive faster execution, smarter strategies, and outsized impact.
This is a C-level track role, with the expectation to grow into CMO/CEO within two years. Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Strategy
– Develop and execute holistic marketing strategies, evolving brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction to build awareness, deepen customer loyalty, and drive long-term organic growth. Retail Expansion
– Lead national retail growth by building relationships with buyers, securing new placements, and representing the brand at trade shows and conventions. Develop marketing and sales strategies to ensure strong sell-through and lasting retail partnerships. Omnichannel P&L Ownership
– Own the financial performance across all non-Amazon channels (Shopify, Chewy, Walmart.com, retail, etc.), balancing revenue growth with profitability by managing sales, advertising spend, and operating costs. Performance Marketing
– Oversee paid acquisition strategy in partnership with the performance marketing team, ensuring campaigns across digital channels are optimized for ROI, lifetime value, and long-term growth. Content & Social Media
– Guide content strategy to strengthen brand storytelling across our blog and social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit). Work with the team to create engaging, shareable content that builds community and brand equity. Partnerships
– Develop and manage influencer, ambassador, and brand partnerships that expand reach, reinforce credibility, and foster community engagement around Good Natured Brand. Team Leadership
– Provide direction, mentorship, and accountability for the marketing team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and excellence in execution across all initiatives. PR & Thought Leadership
– Position Good Natured Brand as a pioneer in the
pet-safe cleaning products industry
by securing media coverage, speaking opportunities, and press features. Highlight our role in redefining what “clean” means for pet parents, families, and environmentally conscious consumers. Preferred Qualifications
