Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy sharing music, your talent can bring peace, reduce anxiety, and create beautiful moments of connection for those on their end-of-life journey.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Singing or playing soft, calming music at bedside
- Sharing familiar songs to evoke memories and comfort
- Playing instruments such as guitar, piano, violin, harp, or portable instruments
- Creating personalized music experiences for patients and families
- Offering musical presence during special events, memorials, or ceremonies
No Hospice Experience Required
All you need is your love for music, a compassionate heart, and a willingness to complete hospice volunteer training.
Ideal Volunteers:
- Musicians, singers, or music therapists (professional or hobbyists welcome!)
- Kind, patient, and emotionally present
- Comfortable being around patients and families in sensitive moments
- Able to respect hospice guidelines and patient confidentiality
