This role involves identifying customer problems, conducting research and competitive analysis, and developing design concepts that balance user needs with business goals. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the product triad (PM, PD, XD) and engineering teams to translate designs into high-quality solutions, while quickly onboarding to complex subject matter. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lead user research and experience audits to uncover opportunities and validate design decisions. Create prototypes, design concepts, and specifications that balance user needs with business goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering partners to drive projects from concept to launch. Build expertise in accounting-focused products to ensure solutions address real-world user challenges. Must have Skills: User Research & Discovery: Conducting interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and experience audits to identify customer problems. Design & Prototyping: Creating design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and final specifications for complex systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with product triads (PM, PD, XD) and engineering teams to execute solutions. Accounting & Finance Knowledge: Understanding accounting workflows, systems, and financial processes.
