Job Summary/Description

Nashville's legacy station is looking for a dynamic storyteller who can produce long-form news and sports content. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, creative producer, and detail-oriented project manager who thrives on collaboration. You'll help lead various projects, including news and sports specials, across television, digital, and social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, research, and produce enterprise stories and specials in news and sports
• Collaborate with the assistant news director in producing and writing long-form projects
• Coordinate cross-platform rollout with news management
• Deliver high-quality storytelling that builds the WSMV 4 brand

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of news-producing experience
• Experience with specials or documentary-style producing preferred
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Experience in television and digital workflows
• Knowledge of both local news and sports
