Senior Product Designer, Core Product – Discord
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Relocation assistance available)
Type: Full-time
Salary: $196K–$220.5K + equity + benefits
Overview:
Lead design on Discord's Core Product team, improving the core user experience across mobile and desktop platforms. Own the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design on a cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Analytics)
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Contribute to product strategy and vision
- Ensure quality and consistency in design execution
- Maintain and improve the design system
- Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio across desktop and mobile
- Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools (e.g., Framer, Protopie)
- Experience with design systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Discord, ideally with gaming experience
