The Director, Digital Marketing reports to the VP, Global Marketing and will be a critical member of the U.S. organization supporting Dompé’s breakthrough therapy, Oxervate, for neurotrophic keratitis (NK). The role is responsible for developing and executing the digital / omni-channel brand strategy for Oxervate in the US, creating branded and disease-state resources for eye care providers (ECPs) and patients, with the goal of growing the prescriber base, patient reach, and NK awareness.

The position requires collaboration with agency partners, media planners, and internal stakeholders to develop digital marketing resources and campaigns to raise NK awareness and educate key stakeholders (patients and ECPs). A strong track record in digital marketing campaigns, cross-functional teamwork, and a data-driven approach is expected, with a focus on evolving the brand value proposition and contributing to Dompé's growth and development. Preference is for a Bay Area or Orange County, CA based candidate, but remote work is possible for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive omni-channel (SEO, SEM, social media, email, website, and content) digital marketing plan aligned with brand goals.
  • Guide the creation of engaging digital content that resonates with ECPs and patients.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with PRC partners (medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance) to create compliant materials supporting the brand strategy.
  • Partner with insights and analytics to measure effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives; use metrics to refine strategy and meet KPIs.
  • Ensure cross-channel consistency of strategy and messaging with Director, HCP Marketing and Assoc. Director Patient & Access Marketing.
  • Contribute to annual brand planning, participate in workshops and ideation sessions, and assist with final plan development.
  • Evaluate and assess new digital tactics, build business cases for funding and execution, and measure ROI.
  • Support the Patient Access team with digital resources for ECPs’ offices and patient pull-through.
  • Leverage AI where appropriate to inform decisions and improve execution.
  • Collaborate across marketing, sales, market access, and PRC to meet customer needs and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of omni-channel digital marketing experience; healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience managing external vendors and agencies of record (AORs).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience measuring digital program success.
  • Proven self-driven results-oriented work history.
  • Experience collaborating with market research to gain customer insights that drive business.
  • Self-starter with ability to plan and act on challenges; cross-functional content and regulatory understanding a plus.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and material approval processes a plus but not required.
  • Experience with cross-functional review committees.
  • Technical proficiency in Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing, and programmatic advertising; AI-driven marketing tools awareness a plus.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and KPI analysis skills.

  • Base Salary: $200,000 - $235,000 per year; incentives and benefits package included.
