Overview
Product Marketing Associate, Product Licensing and Accessories – The Toro Company. You will support the business objectives of the Landscape and Contractors Group by efficiently managing assigned licensing and accessory products, aligning with each brand’s vision, and meeting market demands throughout their lifecycle. Key functions include identifying unmet customer needs and growth opportunities, communicating them via the global multi-generational product planning process, leading and assisting in new product development projects, ensuring customer requirements are met, and achieving schedule and financial targets; launching new products crisply and providing direction on day-to-day product management tasks.

Work Location:
- This opportunity is based at The Toro Company’s Bloomington, MN international headquarters. Other locations or fully remote work are not available at this time.
- The current team operates in a hybrid model (3 days on-site, 2 days optional remote); this may change, and the finalist should be comfortable with 5 days on-site if required.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% and may include visits to warehouses or distribution centers.
What Will You Do?

- Assisting in the development and execution of product strategies.
- Working with strategic partners to identify potential opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, sales, legal) to ensure successful product launches.
- Conducting market research and voice-of-customer data to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Interpreting Voice of Customer data and market research to articulate product concepts.
- Managing product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Coordinating with licensing partners to ensure brand guideline compliance and contractual obligations.
- Analyzing product performance and gathering feedback to inform future development.
- Supporting product documentation, including specifications, packaging, and marketing materials.
- Promoting a positive team dynamic through open communication and collaboration.
What Do You Need?
To be considered, the following minimal requirements apply:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience or internships in product management or licensing is a plus.
- Understanding of licensing agreements and partnerships management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of financial principles, including ROI and profit margins.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel ~25% of the time.
Preferred
- Prior marketing experience in licensing and accessories in a related industry is desired.
- SAP and/or Salesforce product knowledge and configurations are desired.
