Job Title: Sr. Director of Product Marketing

Location: Remote OK (2 days on-site if living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX).

Pay: $165k to $180k

Job Type: Full-time

Introduction:

New American Funding (NAF) is a nationwide mortgage lender committed to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director of Product Marketing to join our dynamic team. This experienced leader will oversee a team of product marketers and collaborate cross-functionally to bring new platforms, products, programs and partnerships to market.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with deep mortgage industry knowledge and a proven ability to lead integrated, data-driven marketing strategies that accelerate revenue growth and establish category leadership.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and execution of product marketing strategies across a portfolio of technology-enabled lending solutions and digital mortgage products.
  • Manage target persona development, customer segmentation, and value-based messaging for tech-enabled mortgage solutions (., POS, LOS, data automation tools).
  • Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap communication, market validation, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Partner closely with product, sales, revenue ops, and customer success leadership to align GTM plans and customer experience, track and report on product marketing KPIs, adoption metrics, and campaign performance.
  • Lead a high-performing team of 4-6 product marketers (SMEs in their respective business verticals: mortgage products, strategic partnerships, affiliates); mentor and scale team capabilities to match company growth.
  • Set clear goals, prioritize initiatives, and lead through ambiguity.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in product marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success building and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for SaaS or platform-based products.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong comfort around KPIs, adoption metrics, and business case development.
  • Working knowledge of the mortgage industry, including products, compliance requirements and the loan lifecycle (. LOS / POS platforms, underwriting).
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Marketo / HubSpot, Google Analytics, Tableau, and mortgage industry platforms like Encompass, Blend, or Total Expert.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk, and regulatory considerations in financial product marketing (., RESPA, UDAAP, FCRA).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to present to the C-suite, boards, or large lending partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor high-performing product teams to meet ambitious goals with speed and quality.
