The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
Make an impact as an Associate Specialist, Communications:
The Communications team focuses on building, supporting, and defending Mastercards reputation with key internal and external audiences. This role will be tailored specifically to Mastercard's North America (NAM) region, with an emphasis on the strategic communication of our most high-profile sponsorshipsincluding McLaren/Formula 1, the PGA and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, The GRAMMYs, the New York Marathon, and other iconic properties. As a Communications Launcher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to these efforts by supporting tactical communications activities that align with our corporate strategy. This includes writing, copyediting, media monitoring, event staffing, and more. You will gain experience across strategy development, account management, social media, media relations, employee engagement, and support for some of Mastercard's most exciting initiatives and sponsorships.
All about you:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors or accelerated masters degree program, graduating between Winter 2024 - Spring 2025
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
