Overview

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located in Red Hook, NY, the Director of Admissions, Marketing & Business Development has primary responsibility for the referral and admissions process of all Devereux New York programs under the supervision of the Executive Director. The role includes creating and maintaining systems to track and monitor referral activity and marketing plans, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan for the New York Center, maintaining established business relationships, and developing new lines of business to increase market share. The position involves market research and analysis to inform decision-making and providing marketing advice and support to other programs as directed. The Director will build relationships with funders to increase admissions and will work collaboratively with senior management, clinical leaders, and outside organizations to identify, develop, and communicate strategic initiatives. This position is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the referral and admissions process for all Devereux New York programs under the supervision of the Executive Director.
  • Create and maintain systems to track referral activity and marketing plans; modify as needed.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for the New York Center; maintain relationships and develop new lines of business to increase market share.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support decision-making; provide marketing advice and support to other programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders to increase admissions across the New York Center.
  • Collaborate with senior management, clinical leaders, and outside organizations to identify and communicate strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications
  • Education: Masters Degree preferred. Bachelors Degree and minimum of two years related experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years marketing experience in business, preferably in a healthcare setting, including at least two years as a supervisor.
  • Physical Requirements: Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or other chemical or controlled substances. Ability to engage in significant walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and lifting of 20 lbs. or more. Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.


Salary

Salary: $74,752.23 - $79,984.88 annually.
