Overview
Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use a proprietary marketing methodology focused on SQLs and Customers to deliver paid media, SEO, performance creative, and video strategies that help clients hit their SQL targets.
This role reports to the Associate Director and is a key member of the Paid Media team. The Paid Media Strategist works directly with enterprise clients, communicates results, creates custom strategies, and executes Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing Paid strategies for enterprise SaaS businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts
- Serve as direct support to client contacts
- Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
- Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network
- Build strategies for clients each quarter
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
- Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
- Responsible for personal productivity and utilization
- Work with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved
- Execute and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
- 3+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency
- Experience working with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
- Deep expertise across paid search and paid social campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
- Strong understanding of PPC principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization)
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
- Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
- Competitive and curious problem solver

- Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

What We Offer
We have a set living wage at Directive. The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is $70,000-$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility. This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and depth of experience.

Work Environment
As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with the option to use our offices in Irvine, CA. We may accommodate global opportunities where we have established operations (Canada, UK, Australia) where work authorization and residency are in place.
This role can operate 100% virtually from your home office. We collaborate via Zoom and Slack. You will need a laptop (PC or Mac), relevant software, and access to internet with a professional background. You may be required to remain stationary for extended periods and must be able to interpret written and verbal communication.
