QUIKRETE, a leading producer of packaged products, is seeking a full-time/ on-site Talent Specialist, as part of our HR team, at our corporate headquarters in Sandy Springs, GA.
This is not your typical L&D or Instructional Designer role. Were looking for someone who can see the big picture, and help plan a full leadership development roadmap, for example, and also dive deep into creating engaging online learning experiences. You are the balanced mix of L&D, ID, project management and creativity!. You are not afraid of thinking out of the box, and jump into projects that challenge your experience and resourcefulness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and map comprehensive online development programs (leadership, sales, etc) aligned with business goals.
- Create and deliver online learning content (eLearning, microlearning, interactive modules, gamification).
- Use instructional design best practices to build scalable, learner-centric content.
- Partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs.
- Leverage learning technologies and platforms (LMS, authoring tools) to drive engagement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Learning & Development and Instructional Design (35+ years preferred).
- Experience using modern e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, LMS platforms).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
- A passion for growing people, fostering talent, and making learning truly engaging.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to create compelling and communicative graphics & content (graphic design skills a plus).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a Plus.
- Self-starter and comfortable working independently.
